The representative of the Chief Department for Food of the Ministry of agriculture and food of Belarus Elena Matsko said at the scientific-practical seminar "Innovative technologies and equipment for the dairy industry" that in eight years the volume of milk of extra class that is used by dairy enterprises, increased by 42.9%.
"In 2016, 44.8% of the total quantity of milk supplied to dairy companies is sold as extra grade milk. This figure was only 1.9% in 2008 and 13.3% in 2010," — said Elena Matsko.
